Detailed Itinerary
Day 1, Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Day 2, Buganda Kingdom Heritage Tour and Naggalabi Coronation Site
Today at 8 am, you will visit the Uganda Museum before continuing to the Buganda King’s Palace to learn more about the history of the Buganda Kingdom. After the palace visit, continue to the Kasubi Tombs, the royal burial site of the Buganda kings. Later, visit the Naggalabi coronation site, an important place in Buganda’s royal history. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at the previous hotel.
Day 3, Jinja Cultural Tour and Source of the Nile Visit
At 7 am, transfer to Jinja in eastern Uganda, arriving after about 2 hours. On the way to Jinja, you may visit Ssezibwa Falls before continuing to the Source of the Nile. Day 4, Mbale Cultural Sites and Bagisu Heritage Experience
Depart Jinja at 8 am and transfer to Mbale, arriving after about 3 hours. After checking into your hotel, visit the Mutoto cultural site, which is associated with the Imbalu circumcision ceremony of the Bagisu people, held every even year. This ceremony is an important cultural rite of passage into adulthood. Later, visit Kakungulu Hill, where Semei Kakungulu was buried and where the Abayudaya Jewish community is associated. Day 5, Sipi Falls Walk and Sebei Cultural Experience

Today, transfer to Sipi Falls for a nature walk around the falls. Later in the afternoon, visit the Sebei caves, including the Kapkwai area if part of the route, to learn more about the culture of the Sebei people before returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 6, Transfer to Moroto and Karamoja Museum Visit
In the morning at 7 am, depart from your hotel and transfer to Moroto. On arrival in Moroto, have lunch and later visit the Karamoja Museum. After the visit, relax at your hotel overnight. Budget Kara-Tunga Camp, Mid-range Kara-Tunga Bandas
Day 7, Ateker Cultural Centre and Tepeth Community Experience
Today, visit the Ateker Cultural Centre before continuing to the Mt Moroto area, where you will meet the Tepeth community after the hike. Spend time learning more about their culture and way of life before returning to your hotel.
Day 8, Transfer to Gulu and Fort Patiko Visit
At 7 am, depart Moroto and transfer to Gulu. Arrive in time for lunch and later visit Fort Patiko, also referred to as Baker’s Fort. It was established in 1872 by Sir Samuel Baker and later used as a military base during the colonial period. Overnight at Acholi Inn or Baker’s Fort Hotel
Day 9, Acholi Cultural Experience in Gulu
Today, visit a local community in Gulu and a museum in Gulu town. You will also visit the craft centre to buy handmade items and enjoy cultural dances of the Acholi people. If interested, you may also visit the Guruguru caves, which are said to have been used during the Lamogi rebellion and during historical inter-clan conflicts. Overnight at the previous hotel.
Day 10, Return to Kampala and Airport Transfer
At 8 am after breakfast, drive back to Kampala and continue to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your 10-day Uganda cultural safari.
