Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Bwindi.
After breakfast, at 7am our guide will pick you up from hotel and head for your journey and drive south-west to Bwindi Forest National park. You will stopover for lunch in Mbarara town and also visit the Igongo cultural centre. Continue through a scenic view of the popularly known “Switzerland of Africa” as you head to the park. If you arrive early you will conclude the day with a visit of the local community. Day 2: gorilla trekking safari | Bwindi
After an early morning breakfast, at 6:30am drive to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the park rangers. The briefing takes you through the rules and guidelines of gorilla trekking. Continue to the impenetrable forest for a memorable adventure in search for the gentle giants as directed by the rangers. This may take up to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. You will spend 1 hour watching the gorillas play around, feed and rest. Return to your lodge later. Time permitting in the evening you can decide to visit the local community .
