Detailed Itinerary
Day 1, Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park, Lake Ihema boat ride
In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive from Kigali to Akagera National Park. On arrival, go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema, where you can watch out for wildlife and birdlife along the shores. Later, retire to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2, Morning game drive in Akagera, return to Kigali
In the morning right after breakfast, you will go for another game drive in the park in search of wildlife. Akagera National Park is home to the big five and many other animals, including elephants, antelopes, and hippos. Later in the afternoon, begin the drive back to Kigali
