Detailed Itinerary
Day1: Arrive Entebbe airport. Kampala. City tour. BB 45 minutes drive
Get to the airport and our company driver will be ready to welcome you and transfer you to Kampala city. Enjoy a Kampala city tour where you will visit places like Nagalabi coronation site, mengo palace, the Uganda martyrs’ shrine, the Uganda museum, crafts shops and so many other sites. Enjoy your dinner and overnight at:

Day 2-3: Drive to transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. 6 hours drive BLD
Rise up early and a driver guide from AA safaris and tours ltd will be ready to pick you up and transfer you to Queen Elizabeth national Park. Enroute you will stop at the equator to take the water experiment and stand in the north and southern part of the earth at the same time. Visit the Mpambire drum village too where the ancient drum making methods have been used since the olden days. Enjoy your lunch enroute and continue to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will be welcomed by enchanting baboons that display there acrobatics. On the way, you may spot some animals like the warthogs, huge elephant, buffalos, waterbucks and several others that you may come across. Prepare for dinner and overnight at:

Day 4-5: Safari game drive / Boat ride on Kazinga Channel. BLD
Wake up early in the morning and go for a safari game drive in the Kasenyi area of the park. During your drive, you may have the chance of seeing predators like lions, the rare leopard, hyenas and many more. Other animals you may come across include elephants, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs, spot some snakes, birds to mention but a few. Return to the park for lunch and afterwards head for the afternoon launch cruise at the Kazinga channel. This channel joins Lake Edward to Lake George. You will spot the hippos, crocodile and water birds quenching there thirst while others are playing in the water. Come back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Drive to Rwanda 6 – 7 hours
After the mesmerizing wildlife tour, drive to Rwanda passing via the Gatuna boarder. Move into Volcanoes National Park. This is the home of the great giants the gorillas. Dinner and overnight at:

Day 7: Gorilla safaris
After break fast, trek to the park headquarters for briefing from the guide. You will later move into the park for the great search. One of the most enduring activities that needs a lot of patience but too exciting and memorable. Once you find them spend an hour with the gorillas observing and taking there pictures. Packed lunch will be provided to you and then later you will return to the lodge. Overnight at previous lodge.
Day 7: Iby’iwacu Cultural village tour.
Go visit the Iby’Iwacu cultural village to learn about the culture and traditions of the Rwandan people. Learn about their farming practices ( agrotourism), how they make banana wine, and how they make millet flour before returning to your hotel. Overnight at your previous hotel.
Day 8: Dain Fossey tombs trek.
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and get prepared to visit the gorilla heroin’s grave. It is one of the amazing places in Rwanda with a great and touching history. Listen to the stories that surround this traditional home and the tight bond this mesmerizing lady created with the gorillas. Have your lunch and drive to Gisenyi to enjoy the great view of the environment around the lake. Come back for dinner and overnight at your booked lodge.
Day 9: Kigali City tour
After breakfast, get ready to transfer back to Kigali. Go for a city tour to visit the genocide memorial and national museums, plus the bomas, before retiring to your hotel. Thereby ending the Rwanda safari Overnight at
