Chobe Safari Lodge

Chobe Safari Lodge is one of luxury lodges owned by Marasa Africa group of hotels found in the different parks in Uganda. This is a five-star lodge located in Murchison falls national park with definitely the best surroundings coupled with a vast view across the park and the river. From the lodge, you can hear the sounds of the rapids flowing along the river.

Rooms

The lodge has got about 40 rooms and these include like 21 tents, there are 4 suites, there is a presidential suite and a family house. It is one of the best places you can choose to stay at if you’re out on a vacation or just a holiday, or evening a place for weddings.

The tents are either set as deluxe or standard rooms but either way, you get same amazing view. The deluxe rooms are on the eastern side of the property very close to the river and are in a very peaceful environment allowing you to rest and just enjoy the environment. Deluxe rooms are bigger, better decorated with beautiful African craft work.

The standard tents are on the opposite side of the deluxe, on the western side of the property with a similarly quiet and peaceful environment. From these rooms, you often get see a few wildlife roaming around the tents for example elephants, baboons and monkeys are very common, buffaloes and sometimes the giraffes pass by too.

All rooms have got clean, very comfortable beds and beddings, they all have en-suite bathrooms with wall showers and flush toilets. Housekeeping is something very vital and so it is done every day, clean the bathrooms, the beddings, dust the furniture, do your turn down in the evening and ensure that everything in your room works just fine.

Common Area

Chobe safari lodge has the finest restaurant where both the local and international dishes are served. Therefore you will have to choose from the menu when provided. Buffet is sometimes provided during lunch while a la carte menu is often provided in the evenings. Sometimes, there is s poolside barbecue is organized. More to the restaurant is the stocked main bar which is filled with variety of spirits, wines, beers and even some snacks. It has got very comfortable bar seats and sofas, a screen which some people might find useful. You can order your drink whenever and drink while you watch TV or browsing on the internet using the free internet access. Alternatively, you can use the poolside bar, enjoy a cocktail as you swim.

Other amenities provided by the lodge include a driver from the room to the main building since it is located some distance away from the lodges. The golf carts available for you should you need a drive anytime of the day. you can access from wi-fi, there is s a swimming pool that you could use during day, the gym is open to those who wish to exercise and a spa section for those who want to have a massage.

Basing from Chobe safari lodge, you go for game drives in the park, enjoy boat cruises on the Nile, you can hike to the top of the falls, do a nature walk or bird watching, among other activities.
