Detailed Itinerary

Day 1, Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, boat ride

After breakfast, depart Kampala and drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The journey takes about 3 to 3.5 hours, making this one of the most accessible wildlife parks from the capital. Arrive in the afternoon, have lunch, and then go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo. During the ride, look out for hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and other wildlife along the shoreline. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Lake Mburo Safari Lodge.

Day 2, Horseback safari, spotlight game drive

After breakfast, go for a horseback safari in Lake Mburo National Park. The ride lasts about 4 hours and offers a different way to experience the park’s wildlife and landscapes. Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax. In the evening, head out for a spotlight game drive in search of nocturnal wildlife, including leopards and jackals. Day 3, Return to Kampala
