Kyambura Gorge Lodge 

Nestled along the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park, close to the Kyambura gorge , Kyambura gorge lodge is luxury lodge that serves this region of the park. Kyambura gorge is a forest part of Queen Elizabeth national park that is home to a number of primates especially the chimpanzees. With excellent views of the Rwenzori mountains, the savanna vegetation and the Kyambura gorge, the lodge is worth a stay.

Rooms/ Bandas.

Kyambura lodge has got 8 bandas which are built using bricks and locally obtained timber from the forests. Some of them have grass thatched roofs while others have iron sheets, four of them are facing the savanna grassland of Queen Elizabeth park while the other four are facing the Kyambura gorge.                                                         4 of them are standard rooms and the other 4 are deluxe room.  Worth noting,  2 out of the 8 rooms are doubles with double beds therefore used by couples. 5 of them are twin rooms with two beds and the remaining 1 is a ravishing decorated to meet the standards of honey moon suite or family room.

Each of these has amenities like mosquito nets on each bed since the lodge is surrounded by bushes, shrubs and the forest. Each bed has a bedside light, en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilet, shower and a wash basin. There is fulltime supply of both hot and the cold running water for showering. Every Banda does have its own private veranda with a seat and in the evening hours after your adventure in the park.

Facilities

At the main lodge is the main lounge with comfortable couches, cushioned seats and tea tables. There is also the restaurant and dining area. Sometimes the dinning table is set out on the main lodge’s verandah for airy environment and the view while you eat.

The lodge also has a swimming pool to cool off after a long hot day. You can also book a spa and you will have someone available to give you a massage.

There is also a bar which is fully stocked and you can also order some drink while you go for a swim and it will be served by the poolside. Spend your evening whichever way you feel like after your tour. Some of the tour activities you can participate include;
