Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Airport Transfer to Jinja.

On arrival at the airport, meet and greet our company representative who will transfer you to Jinja at your accommodation which is just adjacent to the stables. Overnight at Holland Park. If you arrive early, you will go for a city tour in Jinja for an insight into the history of Jinja and also culture and traditions of the people in Jinja.

Day 2: Ride along the River Nile.

Today after breakfast, you will ride and head up to the edge of the Nile. The ride takes you through villages, farms, and also to visit the Speke Memorial at the source of the Nile.  Return to the lodge for lunch and the spend the afternoon relaxing. Later you will go for sunset cruise on the Nile. Overnight at Holland Park.

Day 3: Ride horses on the edge of Lake Victoria.

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to meet the horses at the edge of Lake Victoria. Embark on your horse and ride around the peninsula. Lake Victoria Is the largest fresh water body in Africa with a wide variety of birds and wildlife along the shores. Ride around Lake Victoria Bays, Hills and then retire at an outstanding view point for lunch. After you will move to the Rainforest lodge. Overnight at the Rain forest lodge.

Day 4: Ride your horse in the Rainforest.

Today after breakfast at the forest lodge, we saddle up and start riding into the Rainforest with huge Trees, plenty of wildlife including  monkey and also a great number of local villages. Watch out for the Vevet monkeys and Red tails as they chatter away at our passing. Have a picnic lunch in the forest and then ride towards River Nile through more forested areas and plantations. Overnight at The Haven. That overlooks the rapids on the Nile.

Day 5: Rafting on the Nile

In the morning right after breakfast, we shall go for a day’s white water rafting on the Nile. Spend the whole day rafting on the Nile. Overnight at The Haven.

Day 6: Ride Back to the Start Point.

Today you will ride back to the stables in Jinja. The ride will take us through villages and also along the Nile. Arrive Holland Park in the afternoon. Relax and get a massage. End of the 6 days horse ride safari Jinja.
