Detailed Itinerary
Day 1, airport pick-up, transfer to Jinja and optional city tour
On arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative and transferred to Jinja for check-in at your accommodation, located close to the stables. This gives you a convenient base for the start of your horse-riding safari. If you arrive early, you may enjoy a short Jinja city tour to gain an introduction to the town’s history, culture, and local way of life. Day 2, horseback riding along the River Nile, Speke Memorial and sunset cruise
After breakfast, set out on a guided horseback ride along the River Nile. The route takes you through villages, farmland, and scenic countryside before reaching areas close to the Nile. Along the way, you will visit the Speke Memorial at the Source of the Nile, an important historical site linked to early exploration in the region. Return to the lodge for lunch and enjoy some time to relax in the afternoon. Later in the day, head out for a sunset cruise on the Nile, which adds a calm and scenic contrast to the morning ride.
