Emburara Farm Lodge
Emburara farm lodge is a luxury eco-friendly lodge locate in Mbarara-Ibanda. The lodge has a big farm, which is mainly focused on the long horned cattle that inhabit the farm. The lodge derives it’s name from a local grass that is good for the cattle called Emburara (Hyperemia Ruffa). Hence making it perfect spot for those on an agro tourism safari in Uganda. It is the only lodge where you get to experience the cultures, norms and day today life experiences of the local people in the area. This lodge can be shared by both travelers to Lake Mburo and those to Queen Elizabeth national park. It is a great stop over for those to or from Kibale forest or Bwindi national parks.
The Rooms
Generally, Emburara farm lodge has got some uniquely designed, beautiful and lavishly modern spacious rooms for guests.
There different types of rooms which include the honey moon suite which is booked for couple that are out on their honey moon or anniversary. Emburara farm lodge honeymoon suite is large enough with en-suite bathroom, a bathtub, a double king size bed, linen beddings with a hanging mosquito net and very large window to allow you have a clear view of the farm. There is a reading table where you can sit and rest. This room is designed to enable you have the most memorable honeymoon.
There are also 9 the deluxe rooms in 1 block. These are very luxurious rooms as well with king size beds, en-suite bathrooms and a living area. The living area is furnished with cushioned seats and tables where you can subsequently share a cup of tea with your partner. The bathrooms provide both hot and cold showers and therefore, whatever you choose is available.
The VVIP rooms are larger than the rest of the rooms on the property. Emburara farm lodge VVIP rooms have king size bed. Coupled with large en-suite bathrooms and what makes these rooms unique is the fact that they each have a private lounge with sofa.
The family cottage is a 5 in one. This has a master bed room with a king size bed and a second that has twin beds for two people. They have two bathrooms to serve people from the different rooms. Family rooms also have a family lounge area where the family can sit together and talk.
