Detailed Itinerary
Day 1, Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
At 9 am, you will be picked up by our company representative and transferred from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park. The drive takes about 2 and a half hours, so you should arrive in time for lunch. Day 2, Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Return to Kigali
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. After the briefing, begin your search for the gorillas in the forest with the guidance of park rangers. Gorilla trekking takes place in mountainous terrain, so you are advised to wear hiking shoes and carry a raincoat in case of rain. Once the gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them. After the trek, return to the starting point and transfer back to Kigali, marking the end of your 2-day gorilla trekking Rwanda safari.
