Day 1, pick-up in Kisoro or Kabale, transfer to Bwindi, gorilla trekking and return
At 5 am, you will be picked up from your hotel or accommodation in Kisoro or Kabale and transferred to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking experience. The drive takes about 1 and a half hours or less, depending on your starting point and the trekking sector. On arrival, you will join the ranger briefing before entering the forest. After the briefing, begin your guided trek through the forest in search of the gorilla family assigned to your group. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat and taking photographs under ranger guidance.
