Kyaninga lodge
Kyaninga lodge is a super luxurious lodge over looking Lake Kyaninga thus the name and the Rwenzori mountain. This lodge is built at a higher altitude and therefore from the walkway and the verandahs you get a clear and the best view of the Rwenzori from a distance, the crater lakes including one that is the back yard of the lodge. You can enjoy both the amazing views around the lodge and at the same time the amazing 4star hotel service.
The lodge is strategically located to access both Kibale national park and Queen Elizabeth National Park and also Rwenzori mountains.
Rooms / Cottages:
Kyaninga has got nine (9) exclusive and spacious cottage rooms. Built using locally available resources like logs, timber and grass. Worth noting, is that each of these cottages is privately placed on a raised platform offering you a lot of privacy and a peaceful environment for all guests. The cottages have large either double beds for couples or twins for people who are willing to share a room. All cottages at Kyaninga have clean and soft linen beddings, the care takers make sure they are always clean.
They have private indoor sitting area and a deck where you can sit and rest as you enjoy coffee or the view of the craters. They all have en-suite glass wall bathrooms with showers and hot water.
There is a cozy lounge with comfortable sofas, a fireplace to help keep people warm especially in the night. This is the one place where you can meet with other guest at the lodge or simply rest after or before dinner after a long day. Kyaninga has a trained chefs that prepares the best of dishes. These include a 3 course menu meal, European dishes and even the local traditional meals.
The hotel has a swimming pool overlooking the Kyaninga crater lake. You can enjoy a swim after a long day, relax and also unwind.
