Chimpundu Lodge
Chimpundu lodge is a luxury lodge that is located Kibaale district near Kibale forest national park. It is one of the best lodges where you can spend your time while on an adventurous chimpanzee tracking trip or just out relax because it has a really calm environment and very beautiful scenery. It is very perfect for family vacations, simply a group and even individual travelers.
The lodge has a total of 14 cottages. They all have the best views of the amazing landscape of the region, sometimes a few wildlife can be spotted from the balcony, the thick forest and part of the canopy.
Rooms at Chimpundu Lodge.
There are 3 categories of rooms which include the doubles, deluxe and the family room. The double cottages with double beds which are king size for couples. All rooms have amenities like the stocked minibars, window seats where you can sit and enjoy the view but also doubles as a day bed. The rooms also have a walk-in closet where you can hang your cloths especially if you’re staying longer.
With en-suite bathrooms and wall showers, bathtubs next to a low window to enable you watch the surrounding as you relax especially in the evening, this is heaven on earth.
There are 5 deluxe rooms and these are twin rooms with two beds in there. They have similar amenities as the other rooms and they are comfortable.
Chimpundu has family cottage which has two bedrooms. Perfect for a family of 4 people. This is very suitable for Family. It is very spacious, very comfortable, private and as stylish as the rest of the cottages. In the master bedroom is where you will find the bathtub with the low window overlooking the forest and only a wall shower in the other bedroom.

All rooms have comfortable beds and beddings, spacious and private decks with seats, a tea and coffee facilities in-case you need them, fans and wi-fi, there are safes, hairdryers. laundry services are offered on request. Rooms have phones in the rooms and also a 24-hour emergency call just in-case any of the guest needs assistance with anything. The lodge has got it all on the menu, and they cater to all dietary needs. A spacious and beautiful dining area awaits you to eat and dine at the lodge.. However, private dinners by the bonfire or poolside can also be organised. So that you can have dinner under the stars or as you watch the sunset.
Chimpundu has a fully stocked main bar and a bar lounge area where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and catch up with your new friends. The Bar is quipped with some of the best drinks, extensive wines, spirits and beers too. Snacks are also available should you need them.

There is a lot of fun activities that one can do during their stay at this lodge. However, the most popular activity is the chimpanzee tracking safaris in Kibale national park. In addition, one can do the chimpanzee habituation experience, Bigodi nature walk, community visits, farm visits among others.
