Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi  Kabale. 

At 7am, you will be picked up from your hotel transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in the Southwestern part of Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale. Along the way stop over at Mpambile the drum making centre for a cultural experience. In addition you will also stop at the equator and take enough photos and buy souvenirs if you wish. Continue to Mbarara town for lunch before heading to Kabale. When you reach Kabale town, proceed to Lake Bunyonyi and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 2 : Sight seeing | Boat cruise | Bird watching | Community visits 

Breakfast in the morning then go for a community walk and visit the Batwa and Abaheesi communities to interact with them. Get to learn about their daily life before returning to the lodge for lunch.  In the afternoon, go for canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi where you will get chance to view the beautiful landscape including some of the 29 islands. Day 3: To Lake Mburo national park. 

Have breakfast in the morning, go for a nature walk and have a last glance of the stunning landscape of the surrounding area. Then drive to Lake Mburo national park through the savannah with evergreen state of Africa and the kigezi highlands. Check in at the lodge, have lunch and prepare for a game drive later.

After lunch, you will go for an evening game drive in the park where you will spot animals like giraffes, Ugandan kob, water-bucks, zebras, leopards and buffalos among others.  Day 4: Horseback ride  – Boat ride on Lake Mburo 

After your breakfast, go for a horseback game ride. The ride rewards you with views the beautiful eland, antelopes, sitatunga, herds of buffalos, topi, bohor reed-back, impala, warthogs, hyenas, leopard, jackal, and defassa waterbuck and after return to the lodge for lunch

After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo where you will see crocodiles, variety of birds, hippos in their natural habitat, antelopes and otters. Day 5 ; To Kampala.
