Detailed Itinerary

Day 1, Transfer from Kampala to Kidepo Valley National Park

In the morning, right after breakfast, you will depart Kampala and drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, with a stop in Mbale for lunch. The journey is long and takes about 8 to 9 hours. Day 2, Game drive in Narus Valley, nature walk in Kidepo Valley

Rise early for a game drive in Narus Valley. The game drive takes about 2 to 3 hours. Watch out for wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, and many other species. Later in the afternoon, go for a nature walk in the Kidepo Valley area. Overnight at your previous lodge.

Day 3, Game drive in Kidepo, Karamojong manyatta visit

Early in the morning, go for another game drive in the park in search of wildlife. Later in the afternoon, visit the manyattas of the Karamojong and learn more about their traditions and way of life. After the visit, return to your lodge. Overnight at your previous lodge.

Day 4, Return to Kampala

In the morning, right after breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala. If time permits, you may stop at the Source of the Nile for pictures before continuing to Kampala, arriving in the afternoon.
