Kikorongo Safari Lodge is a modern lodge built along the slopes of the Kikorongo escarpment, from which it takes its name. The lodge is surrounded by well kept natural greenery and overlooks Queen Elizabeth National Park, giving guests a scenic and peaceful base in western Uganda. The setting is made even more rewarding by views towards Lake Edward, the Kazinga Channel, and, from some points, the Rwenzori Mountains. Because the cottages are spread along the escarpment slopes, walking to and from the rooms adds to the sense of staying in a scenic hillside property with wide views and a strong connection to the landscape.

The premium tents are built at the highest points of the escarpment and are spread across the slopes of the Rift Valley landscape. These rooms offer some of the strongest views across the park, Lake George, and the Kikorongo area. The premium tents share core amenities such as comfortable king size beds, a private balcony with seating, en suite bathrooms, and a private garden area. Because they are larger and more spacious, they are a strong option for families, friends, and small groups who want extra room and comfort during their stay.

Intimate Cottages for Couples

The intimate cottages are built along the edge of the property and are smaller than the premium tents, giving them a more compact and private feel. They are well-suited to guests who prefer a smaller and more private space rather than a larger room. This makes them especially suitable for couples and honeymoon travellers. The intimate cottages include en suite bathrooms, reliable hot water, comfortable beds, and the essential in-room features needed for a comfortable stay. They offer a high level of privacy, and the natural sounds of birds help create a peaceful atmosphere.
