Kigambira safari Lodge

Kigambira safari lodge is an ecofriendly luxury lodge in Mbarara near Lake Mburo National park. The lodge offers comfort and wildlife experience at the same time in the wilderness. Kigambira safari lodge is situated between Rubanga forest and Lake Kigambira thus the name. the lodge’s strategic location offers you two more activities that you can do while at the lodge which include a walk through the forest which takes you around the lake or visit the lake.

Rooms at Kigambira safari lodge:

Kigambira safari lodge has got 12 beautiful en-suite off the ground raised bandas. These are well furnished and so you can be assured of best hospitality and a comfortable stay. Out of these, 9 deluxe bandas can be shared by couples and friends. In addition, both deluxe twins and double are equally comfortable.

There are also 2 family bandas. These are two in ones, with a double bedroom and one room with two twin beds suitable for kids. Family bandas can accommodate 4 people per night and are perfect for Family or a group of friends. Worth noting is that the Family cottages has two bedrooms and bathrooms.

The last category is the honeymoon suite which is really fancy, with extra details therefore making it perfect for the newlyweds or anniversary celebrants. In that case, the most adorned room on the entire property just to make your honeymoon memorable.

All rooms are very spacious enough, very cozy, have self-contained bathrooms, they are air conditioned, they have balconies where you sit and watch the day unfold. They also have kitchenettes, linen beddings that are soft and comfortable all to make your stay memorable. They all have mosquito nets to keep mosquitoes and other bugs out. You will have an amazing view of the surrounding acacia trees from whichever room you will be sleeping in. These attract so many bird species and so if you love birds, you can sit on our balcony and start counting.

Amenities.

The restaurant and the bar are in the main building. A menu is available to guide the guests and include both the locals and international cuisines. The bar is stocked with variety of wines, spirits, beers and also soft drinks. You can make an order any time and it will be delivered. In light of the previous statement, drinks and coffee can be served from your private balconies in the evening hours as you wait for dinner.

The lodge owns a swimming pool which you will find very useful in the afternoon hours when its really hot. The kids too have their kids pool but should be under the supervision of their parents.

To spice up your stay, you can go for a few activities like a boat cruise. Hence, offering you a chance to see species like the hippos, baffaloes, crocodiles, water birds and wetland dwellers like the shoe bill stork, among others.
