4 Days Gorilla, Chimpanzee Trekking Safari
The 4 days gorilla, chimpanzee trekking tour takes you to visit parks to include Bwindi Forest park and Kibale National park. The trip gives you an opportunity to trek gorilla and chimpanzees in just 4 days.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Kibale.
At 7am you will drive to transfer to Kibale National park. The drive will take 5 hours arriving in the afternoon. In the afternoon, you will go trek chimpanzees and then later relax. Chimpanzee trekking starts at kayanchu head quarters and through the different forest trails you will start the search for the chimpanzees. On meeting the chimpanzees, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour following them and then later you will drive to transfer to your hotel. Overnight at
Basic- Kibale forest camp
Moderate – Mt of the Moon Hotel
Luxury – Ndali Lodge / Kyaninga Lodge.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi.
Today in the morning at 7am, you will depart Kibale National park to transfer to Bwindi. The drive will take 6 to 7 hours arriving in the later afternoon hours. . This after you will check in your hotel relax or you can opt to visit a nearby community and learn about the local people and their cultures. Overnight at
Basic- Rushaga Gorilla camp / Gorilla valley Lodge / Buhoma community bandas
Moderate; Nkuringo Bwindi lodge / Silverback lodge / Ichumbi gorilla lodge.
Luxury; Clouds gorilla lodge / Gorilla forest camp.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking.
Today is the D-day for gorilla trekking. Go to Bwindi Forest Park headquarters for briefing and then after briefing through the forest you will start the search for gorillas. The guided walk through the forest in search for gorillas in fun and the pace is determined by the slowest person in the guided. Listen to stories about the gorillas as you trek through the forest. On meeting the gorillas, you are allowed to spend 1 hour following them. Later you will return to the starting point. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 4: Drive back to Kampala.
This is a long drive that starts as early as 6am, and it will take 8 to 9 hours. On the way to Kampala, you will stop at the equator for a photo opportunity. You can opt to fly back to Kampala at an extra fee.
