Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Drive and transfer to Kidepo national park.

At 6 am you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala to transfer to Kidepo national park. The drive will take 8 to 9 hours arriving in the evening. Overnight at

Basic- UWA Bandas

Moderate – Kidepo Savannah Hotel

Luxury – Apoka safari lodge.

Day 2: Game drives / Visit the Manyattas.

Rise up for an early morning game drive to search for wildlife.Watch out for plenty of wildlife including carnivores in the Narus valley. Later in the afternoon you will go visit the manyattas for an insight into the culture of the Karamajong people. After visiting the Manyattas, return to your lodge.  Overnight at previous hotel.

Day 3: Nature walk to kidepo valley.

Today you will go for a nature walk to the Kidepo valley to search for plenty of animals and then later return to your hotel to relax in the afternoon. Overnight at previous lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison falls National park.

At 7am you will embark on the 6 to 7 hours journey to transfer to Murchison falls national park, through Kitgum and Gulu. Check into your hotel and relax. Overnight at

Day 5: Game drives/ boat ride

6am, game drive on the northern sector of the mighty Nile. Watch out for animals like Lions, elephants, buffaloes and so much more. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat ride on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls. Overnight at previous lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala.

In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to transfer back to Kampala. On the way to Kampala, you will stop by the rhino sanctuary to track rhinos before proceeding to arrive Kampala in the evening. End of the 6 days Kidepo and Murchison Falls safari.
