On this 3 days Nyungwe chimp safari we take you to explore, visit , tour and walk through one of the oldest forest on planet earth and Africa. While on the trip you will visit the King’s palace and the natural history museum, before tracking chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest national park. You will also walk along the raised platform for a view of the canopy of the forest. The canopy walk is great for those who are not afraid of highest. Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe
In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to transfer to Nyungwe national park. The Drive will take 4 to 5 hours. On the way to the park you will visit the Kings palace and the natural history museum. Later drive to proceed to Nyungwe. Overnight at Basic- Gisakura guest House. Moderate – Nyungwe top view hotel , Luxury – Nyungwe House.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trek / Canopy Walk.
Today you will go trek chimpanzees in the park. The trek starts very early at 5am and the trekking time ranges between 2 to 4 hours. Return to the lodge after the trek and then later in the afternoon you will go for a canopy walk.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali.
