Buhoma Lodge Bwindi Impenetrable Forest 

Buhoma lodge is one of the luxurious in the Buhoma section of the Bwindi impenetrable national park therefore the name. It is located about 5 minutes away from the park headquarters where the briefing of gorilla tracking is done every morning. The lodge is surrounded by the Bwindi forest tree therefore has got an amazing view from the balconies and through the windows of your room.

Buhoma Lodge Rooms

Buhoma lodge has 10 nice chalet rooms that are uniquely designed using all local material mainly collected from the surrounding community like grass, timber and wood. All rooms are very spacious with very comfortable beds. The lodge has  double rooms,  single rooms for the solo travelers and some twin rooms. All these rooms have private verandahs from where you can enjoy the scenic views. All rooms at Buhoma lodge have en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers.  Some rooms have bath tubs so you can relax in , after your adventurous gorilla trekking activity. All rooms have in built insect proof nets to keep insects out of the room. Lighting is done by the solar system and the honey moon suite has its own fire place is built within and a lounge.

The Lounge or common Area

The lodge has an open dinning room area where meals are served, all meals are prepared using ingredients collected from local farms around the community. There is an open bar that is fully stocked with beers, spirits and wines that you can enjoy while you’re relaxing and enjoying the view of the surrounding.

The lodge has a spa room for those that may wish to have free massage services, laundry too is a complimentary service to all guests. In addition, Buhoma lodge can help you organsie parties, anniversaries and birthdays for you or even a wedding for a small group.
