3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari Starting from Kigali.
Are you in Rwanda for business but would love to trek gorillas in bwindi Uganda. Well the 3 day Uganda gorilla trekking safari starting from Kigali is the perfect trip for you. With the introduction of the East African Tourists Visa, traveling between the two countries has been made easier. And therefore you can choose t trek gorillas in either country using one visa.
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali transfer to Bwindi. LD
At 8am, you will be picked up from Kigali to cross the border and transfer to Kigali. The drive will take 4 to 5 hours arriving in the afternoon. Please note that you can obtain the visa at the border, however we recommend that at the time of entering Rwanda you obtain the East african tourists visa to avoid delays at the border. On arrival in Bwindi you can opt to visit the batwa community or go for a community walk. These can be organized for you at an extra cost. Overnight at

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking. BLD
Start the day with an early breakfast at 6am before you transfer to the park headquarter. At the park headquarter you will be briefed about the entire trek and then through the forest you will start the search for the gorillas. Gorilla trekking takes between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once you meet them you will be allowed to spend 1 hour following them and taking pictures. Later return to the starting point and head back to your hotel for dinner. Packed lunch will be provided on this day.
Day 3: Drive to Kigali.
At 9am, after breakfast, you will drive to transfer back to Kigali arriving in the afternoon If your flight is this evening you will be dropped off at the airport.
