8 days Biking safari Uganda takes you to Jinja, Mt Elgon and Zziwa Rhino sanctuary. Go cycling in Jinja, then mt Elgon and then near the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary. Bike near Sipi Falls , in the former bustling town of Uganda, near tea plantations, to appreciated what the Pearl of Africa has to offer.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Warm welcome on arrival and transfer to hotel/lodge (Bed and breakfast)

Arrive at the airport to meet our company representatives who will brief you about the entire trip and then transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Overnight at 2 Friends Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja. (Bed and Breakfast)

Today in the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to transfer to Jinja. Visit the Ssezibwa Falls enroute and also participate in the zip line activity in Mabira Forest. Arrive Jinja in the evening.  Overnight at Source of the Nile Hotel.

Day 3: City tour 25-20km / Nature Tour 10-15km. BLD

Bike through the city of Jinja to visit the historical sites and also the source of the Nile where River Nile starts its journey of over 6,000KM. The ride takes 3 to 4 hours, you would be back in time for lunch. On this journey you will visit a local weaver to buy some souvenirs.  In the afternoon you will go bike through the local villages near bujagali falls, Watch out for nature and animals like monkeys, reptiles and plenty of birds.  Overnight at previous Lodge.

Day 4: Tour Tea and sugar estate. BLD

Today you will cycle through the tea and sugar plantations. Explore the rolling hills along the Nile and through the tea and sugar plantations visiting the local communities and villages. Your will cycle for 30-35km and it will take you around 4 to 5 hours. Later in the afternoon you will volunteer at the soft power education center. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight at your previous lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Mt Elgon. BLD

In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to transfer to Mt Elgon National Park. The bike safari will take near Mt Elgon starts this afternoon For those interested in hiking to the highness peak of Mt Elgon visit our adventure holidays page. The drive will take you 2 and half to 3 and half hours arriving in the afternoon. Check into your hotel. Have lunch and then later in the afternoon go for a walk or bike to Sipi falls. Overnight at Sipi River Lodge

Day 6: Bike to go for a Coffee tour.  Mount Elgon to Sipi . BLD

In the morning right after breakfast, you will bike to go for a 2 to 3 hours coffee tour , that will take you thought the process of how the Coffee gets to your table. Return to the lodge for lunch and then later in the afternoon you will drive to transfer back to Kampala. Overnight at Cassia Lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to The Zziwa Rhino sanctuary. BLD

This morning after breakfast, you will drive to transfer to the Rhino sanctuary Zziwa for your biking safari. The drive will take you 3 hours arriving in the afternoon. You will have lunch at the lodge and then in the afternoon bike to search for the rhinos. On meeting them you will spend some time watching then and then later bike back to your hotel. The Zziwa rhino sanctuary can be visited on your way to Murchison Falls National park whilst on the 3 days Murchison Falls safari. Overnight at Amuka Lodge.

Day 8: Canoe Ride / Transfer to Entebbe. BLD

In the morning you will go for a canoe ride, to search for the shoe bill stock and then later in the afternoon after lunch you will drive to transfer to Kampala. Proceed to Entebbe international airport to catch your onward flight back home. End of 8 days Biking safari Uganda.
