4 DAYS GORILLA SAFARI AND WILDLIFE SAFARI IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

DAY 1: BWINDI FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Our tour guide will pick from your hotel or Entebbe international airport and drive to south west of Uganda to Kanungu District. On journey to Bwindi Forest, you will stopover at the Equator line and take photos and proceed to Mbarara town for lunch and continue to the park as you view the beautiful sceneries of the bamboo forest, Mountains, tropical rainforest along the way. On arrival at the park, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge (Midrange) / Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp (Budget) / Buhoma Lodge (Luxury)

DAY 2: GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI FOREST

Early Morning after breakfast, you will transfer to the Headquarters of Bwindi Forest for a briefing by the guides about the dos and don’ts while on the search for the Mountain Gorillas. From there, you will head to the forest for a memorable tracking safari, you will come face to face with the gorillas, watch the gorillas do their everyday routine, feed, mothers with their baby gorillas and while on this hike you will get to see more wildlife mammals, various bird species, reptiles, butterflies and Primates. Later return to your lodge for lunch and prepare to check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park which should take about 3 hours. Check in at your lodge on arrival and head for an evening short game drive and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury) / Bush Lodge (Budget) / Enganzi Lodge (Mid-range)

DAY 3: WILDLIFE GAME DRIVES | QUEEN ELIZABETH

You will have breakfast in the morning and set out for your morning game driving to the southern sector that is Ishasha of Queen Elizabeth where animals like Tree-climbing lions, Elephants, Uganda kobs, antelopes, Buffalos, Waterbucks, topi, as well as the abundant bird species can be seen. Return to your lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise.

During the afternoon hours, you will go for a Launch cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will have the opportunity to watch the wildlife animals up-close on the shores of the lake like the buffalos, hippos and birds like saddle billed stork, pink backed pelicans, African fish eagles, great and long-tailed cormorants, Marabou stork, great white egrets and many more. Later return to your lodge, freshen up have dinner and overnight Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury) / Bush Lodge (Budget) / Enganzi Lodge (Mid-range)

DAY 4: MORNING GAME DRIVE | DEPARTURE

After your breakfast in the morning, you will go for a morning game drive to the north of the park in kasenyi trail where you will see the rare warthogs, mongoose, leopards, antelopes, cape buffalos, and many small animals around. After this game drive return to your lodge and prepare to depart for Kampala. On the way you will stop at Mpigi royal drum makers and see how they craft the ceremonials drums and you will arrive in Kampala in the evening.
